A joint force from the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the army carried out today, Thursday, a preemptive security operation to hunt down the remnants of the terrorist “ISIS” in the islands of Hatra and Al-Baaj, Nineveh.
The Popular Mobilization Commission stated in a statement, “The force found caches and containers buried under the ground and a tunnel, as well as four explosive devices.”
The statement added, “The operation was launched from 3 axes, with the participation of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the army, with the aim of clearing and securing the islands of Hatra and Al-Baaj in Nineveh Governorate./ End
