The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Tuesday, the arrest of 8 defendants and the seizure of equipment and weapons in Wasit.
The Ministry said in a statement: “A joint force from the First Regiment of the Second Brigade, Rapid Response Division, in cooperation with the Division’s Intelligence Department, carried out a large search operation in Zubaidiyah District in Wasit Governorate, which resulted in the arrest of (8) people on charges of possessing unlicensed weapons. A number of light weapons and a quantity of various equipment were seized.”/End
