According to Qatar News Agency, the earthquake occurred 129 km from Barrancas village in Neuquen, at a depth of 186.5 km. The recent quake comes almost a year after a 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck the province of San Juan in Argentina last October, which similarly resulted in no casualties or damage.
