Panama City: An earthquake measuring 4.8 magnitude on the Richter scale struck on Thursday south of Panama. According to Qatar News Agency, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the earthquake occurred 4.8 km from southwest Burica town, at a depth of 10 km. Fortunately, no tsunami warnings have been issued, and there have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake so far.
