Vanuatu: An earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale struck near Isangel, Vanuatu, on Monday. According to Qatar News Agency, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the earthquake's epicenter was located 54 km from the town of Isangel at a depth of 286.7 km beneath the Earth's surface. Currently, there have been no reports of casualties or material damage resulting from the earthquake. Vanuatu, an archipelago of volcanic origin situated in the South Pacific Ocean, is part of the Ring of Fire. This region is known for its high seismic activity due to the presence of numerous volcanoes along the edge of the Pacific Plate.
