Al-manaqish: A moderate earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck the Al-Manaqish area in southwestern Kuwait on Tuesday, according to the Kuwait National Seismic Network.

According to Qatar News Agency, the network stated that the tremor occurred at 1:27 p.m. local time at a depth of 5 kilometers. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties resulting from the seismic activity.

This recent earthquake follows a previous incident in mid-March 2025 when the same area experienced a 3.9-magnitude earthquake. The region's susceptibility to seismic activity has been noted, though significant damage has not been reported in recent events.
