3.3 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Jordan Valley

The Jordanian Seismic Observatory (JSO) recorded on Wednesday an earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale in the Jordan Valley, south of Lake Tiberias, without any losses or damages reported.

The JSO stated that the tremors were felt by some citizens close to the area where it occurred. It is considered one of the weak and usual tremors that hit Jordan.

On Jan. 23, Lake Tiberias was hit by an earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale, followed by 10 aftershocks, without causing any losses.
