Eighteen people were killed and five injured in an Israeli raid on Zaarta region in northern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Red Cross. It said Israeli aircraft struck a house in the town of Aito in Zgharta district, and one person was injured in an Israeli airstrike on Ras Baalbek in the Bekaa Valley. A Lebanese source said a Red Cross aid convoy was heading to Ras Baalbek when Israeli jets struck, damaging a truck and wounding the driver.
