The 12th meeting of the Arab Committees for International Humanitarian Law was held in Doha with the participation of the Arab League, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the heads of the Arab Committees for International Humanitarian Law and representatives of regional and international organizations.

The State of Qatar’s delegation participating in the meeting was headed by HE Director of the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vice Chairman of the National Committee for International Humanitarian Law, Dr. Turki bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud.

In the State of Qatar’s speech, His Excellency stressed the state’s commitment to international humanitarian law and the protection of civilians and those affected by conflicts. He also highlighted Qatar’s role in supporting refugees and those impacted by conflicts.
