Beirut: Lebanese Health Ministry announced that 12 people were killed and 13 others wounded on Wednesday in Israeli airstrikes on areas in southern Lebanon.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry's emergency operations center stated that an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Tayr Debba in the Tyre district killed nine people, including a woman, and injured ten others. It added that another airstrike on the town of Haris wounded two paramedics, while an airstrike targeting the city of Sidon killed three people and injured another.
The center noted that the cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression against Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 3,696, with 11,413 injured.
