Unquestionable Dominates Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf for Al Shaqab Racing

SANTA ANITA — Unquestionable carried the colours of Al Shaqab Racing to an emphatic victory in the Gr.1 Prevagen Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf at Santa Anita Park on Friday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two-year-old colt, who was previously the runner-up in the Gr.1 Qatar Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, displayed a commanding performance to secure the win for his owners. Trained by renowned trainer Aidan O’Brien, Unquestionable was partnered with jockey Ryan Moore, who stepped in for Frankie Dettori after River Tiber was withdrawn from the race.

Starting as the favourite, Unquestionable maintained a striking position throughout the race and unleashed a decisive surge in the final straight, crossing the finish line one and a half lengths ahead of the competition. Stablemate Mountain Bear clinched second place, marking a successful one-two finish for O’Brien’s team, while My Boy Prince completed the top three.

Ryan Moore, speaking on his victory, praised Unquestionable’s consistent form and attributed the win to the colt’s affinity for the increased distance of the race.
