Engineer Mohammed Ali Al Khouri, Secretary General of Expo 2023 Doha, and Director of the Public Parks Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, welcomed the Secretary General of the AIPH, Mr. Tim Bercliffe.
As part of this official visit, they had a site walkthrough in Al Bidda Park, which will host Expo 2023 Doha Horticulture activities.
After the site visit, Expo 2023 team conducted a presentation that encompassed all the plans that are developed to date along with a summary of the work accomplished in the various workstreams of the program, which highlighted the progress of projects within the scope of preparing the site in Al-Bidaa Park, preparing the requirements and documents required to support the countries that will participate, in addition to the designs associated with the brand, event, and marketing plans.
Accordingly, the President of the International Association of Horticultural Producers commended the ongoing work in preparation for hosting the Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha, while the Secretary General of the AIPH pointed out the importance of continuing the projects at the same pace.
