Amman, Jordan – Senate Speaker Faisal Fayez emphasized the crucial role of dialogues with university students in addressing Jordan’s national issues and challenges. This approach is aimed at realistically navigating the regional developments and their impact on the Kingdom’s political, economic, and social security.
According to Jordan News Agency, who made these remarks during a meeting of the Senate Education Committee attended by presidents of Jordanian public and private universities, engaging with youth and considering their perspectives on various national issues is vital for empowering them. He noted Jordan’s resilience and achievements over its 100-year history, asserting that the nation will continue to stand firm despite ongoing challenges.
Fayez also commented on the current situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, expressing concern over the international community’s response. He highlighted the King of Jordan’s stance on the Palestinian issue, calling for a strong Arab position to support Jordan’s efforts against Israeli aggression. Fayez pointed out that Jordan bears a significant burden due to its stance on the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people to freedom, life, and independence.
