The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange rose 52.09 points, 0.51%, to reach the level of 10,268 points at the beginning of trading on Monday compared to yesterday’s closing.

The positive performance of QSE general index was supported by a rise in Banks and Financial Services by 0.66%; Insurance by 0.60%; Industrials by 0.59%; Transportation by 0.40%; Real Estate by 0.39%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.07%. On the other hand, Telecoms declined by 0.12%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 3,238 transactions worth QR 105.318 million, distributed to 53.486 million shares.
