QDB Launches Second Phase of Digital Platform “NUMU”

Qatar Development Bank (QDB) has launched the second phase of the digital platform “NUMU,” which has been designed to provide entrepreneurs with a unique and pioneering experience in their using financing services. This platform provides direct funding clients, who own industrial projects, with a quick submission, flexibility in communication, and transparency in business management.

“NUMU” was launched at early 2020 as part of the integrated digital transformation journey of QDB and its endeavor to develop the entrepreneurship system infrastructure in the State and create a developed environment for owners of small and medium sized-enterprises (SMEs). This also aims to overcome obstacles to owners of SMEs, facilitate obtaining their approvals, provide them with guidance and support in an easy and smooth manner that ensures developing their existing projects.

Commenting on the launch of the second phase and its position in the new digital economy, Mr. Abdulrahman bin Hisham Al Suwaidi, QDB Acting Chief Executive Officer, said: “The Bank is working within a clear vision of digital transformation based on digitizing the bank’s services and resources to ensure broad and inclusive access for entrepreneurs, whether for financing or training and guidance. Thereby, this will save them time and effort to devote themselves to the most important aspects of managing and operating their business in line with the National Vision to create a knowledge-based digital economy.”
