Nablus Field Hospital Begins Serving Local Community

Nablus – The newly established Jordanian Field Hospital “Nablus/1” began its operations on Thursday, welcoming patients and providing a range of medical and therapeutic services. This initiative is part of Jordan’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people during their current challenges. The hospital director highlighted that the medical team is focused on delivering the highest standard of care to alleviate the suffering of patients. On its opening day, the hospital attended to 33 cases, including minor surgeries, chronic illness treatments, lab tests, and emergency interventions.

According to Jordan News Agency, Nablus residents have expressed their gratitude towards Jordan, particularly acknowledging King Abdullah II’s leadership in offering consistent medical and humanitarian assistance. The field hospital is well-equipped with diverse medical specialties, featuring seven trailers, two operation rooms, intensive care units, and a 15-bed capacity. It also includes a laboratory, pharmacy, x-ray lab, dental clinic, and a sterilization room.
