Magnitude 5.6 Earthquake Hits West Papua Province in Indonesia

An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale hit Indonesian province of West Papua.

Indonesian meteorology, climatology, and geophysical agency said today that the earthquake occurred at a distance of 57 km from Kaimana area in the province.

There were no immediate reports of damage or loss of life.
