Amman, Jordan – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, has provided an overview of the recent high-profile meeting in Amman to his counterparts from Bahrain, Oman, Morocco, and Turkiye. The meeting in question, held on Saturday, involved foreign ministers from Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt, along with the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the US Secretary of State.

According to Jordan News Agency, Safadi, during his phone calls on Sunday, shared details of the discussions which primarily focused on the situation in Gaza. The Arab position, as outlined in the meeting, underscored the need to halt the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the associated loss of life, challenging the framing of these actions as self-defense.
