JBA stops pleading in courts Sunday, donates JD50,000 to JAF’s field hospital in Gaza

The Jordan Bar Association (JBA) called on its members to stop pleading in all the Kingdom’s courts on Sunday at 11 a.m. in support of the Palestinian people, their valiant resistance, and the Hashemite custodianship of the holy sites in Palestine.

The JBA saluted “the heroics undertaken by the struggling Palestinian people and their valiant resistance, and the victory they achieved over the Zionist entity.”

In a meeting held Saturday evening, the JBA council decided to open an account of donation to support the Palestinian people, and to address the Arab Lawyers Union (ALU) to circulate the decision to Arab unions to open similar accounts.

The JBA also decided to invite the ALU permanent office to meet in Amman from November 2-4 under the slogan “Palestine is the Just Cause.”

The council called on the JBA members to participate in the stance of pride and dignity called for by the professional unions to support the steadfastness and resistance of the Palestinian people in front of the union complex at
1PM.

The JBA council also decided to donate JD50,000 from the Resilience Support Account for the Palestinian People to the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) field hospital in Gaza to send medicines, devices and medical supplies, and to remain in permanent session to follow up on current events.
