Electric load at 3,500 megawatts

The electrical load reached 3,500 megawatts on Wednesday evening, compared to a morning load of 3,140 megawatts, according to data from the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO). The highest electrical load recorded in the Kingdom in January of last year was 4,010 megawatts. The NEPCO had previously assured that Jordan’s electric power grid is dependable and capable of managing high electricity demands during peak months.
