Algiers, Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Attaf and his Zimbabwean counterpart Frederick Musiiwa Shava discussed today cooperation relations between the two countries and prospects for enhancing them, in addition to coordination on many regional and international issues.

Their talks during the meeting focused specifically on the deteriorating conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially in the Gaza Strip that is undergoing tragic conditions as a result of the Israeli occupation’s aggression. The two sides called on international organizations and bodies to take action in order to put an end to the crimes and violations committed against the Palestinian people and hold those responsible accountable.

The Zimbabwean Foreign Minister is in Algeria to participate in the 20th ministerial meeting of African and Northern European countries due to begin tomorrow.
