Two Palestinians were martyred after they were hit by Israeli gunfire south of Tulkarm on Thursday morning.

The Palestinians, aged 23 and 27, succumbed to their wounds sustained during confrontations in the village of Shufa in Tulkarm, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.

According to sources, an Israeli special force, supported by large forces from the occupation army, stormed Tulkarm camp and deployed snipers among the alleys. Violent confrontations broke out between the Palestinians and occupation soldiers who fired live bullets, stun grenades, and poisonous gas.

Various parts of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem are subjected to daily arrest campaigns and raids by the Israeli occupation forces who often target the Palestinians with live ammunition, rubber bullets and gas bombs.
