The Media Center for Youth, an affiliate of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the branch of Toastmasters at Qatar University Alumni Association is due to organize the 2nd edition of Tawasol (Communication) next Tuesday at the QU’s students’ affairs building.

Held under the theme of (Turning Point), Tawasol 2 event primarily aims to highlight the role of elocution and delivery of public speaking through focusing on the activities of Toastmasters branch and demonstrating the value of elocution and public speaking skills, as well as expanding the circle of targeted segment from QU’s alumni to capitalize on the program of Toastmasters branch.

The 2nd edition focuses on communication as a key purpose that all arts of delivery of public speaking and successful leadership strive to achieve, and is composed of many series, such as a prepared model of speech which is delivered in Toastmasters’ meetings and is considered an integrated speech in terms of content, impact, as well as vocal and physical performance.

The other one is speech evaluation in which emphasis is put on prepared speeches, highlighting the good aspects and improvement points, in addition to impromptu speeches dedicated to guests and attendees, as well as a variety of educational, recreational, and interactive series presented by a contingent of professionals in their field of expertise.
