Haj Tawfiq said ACC is ready to provide economic information to Yemeni side and help facilitate procedures for developing joint trade relations. To achieve this goal, he noted embassy needs to provide ACC with a list of Yemeni commodities that can be exported to be sent to the chamber's members. He also said ACC is ready to hold training workshops for Yemeni side at Amman Chamber of Commerce Training Academy and launch remote courses for Yemeni employers based on their needs. For his part, Faqira said Yemeni business community is interested in strengthening and reviving its trade and investment relations with Jordan, and establishing commercial partnerships in multiple economic sectors, stressing "depth" of bilateral relations. The diplomat indicated that the embassy has a "preliminary" vision about Jordan's Investment Environment Law, and wishes to reactivate joint trade exchange and urge Yemeni business owners to invest in Jordan, due to its "strategic" importance and "distinguished" position at the regional and international levels. He pointed to the need to review some procedural aspects facing Yemeni investors in coordination between the embassy, ACC and the concerned official authorities. He called on the Jordanian private sector to explore investment opportunities in Yemen, which is a "large and wide" market for agricultural products, animal production and fish wealth.
