Israeli forces Wednesday have shot and killed a Palestinian youth during clashes in Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

A Palestinian was shot in the chest during the confrontations that broke out after Israeli troops broke into the refugee camp of al-Ain in Nablus and surrounded a house there, WAFA news reported a medical source as saying.

Mohammad Abdul Hakim, 23, was taken to the hospital, where his condition was reported to be critical, and later was pronounced dead, the source added.

Israeli forces raided the said camp amidst intense shooting, resulting in confrontations with Palestinian youths breaking out.
