European stocks began trading on Wednesday with losses affected by a decline in real estate stocks, and shares on the London Stock Exchange fell as British inflation continued at a high level.
The European STOXX 600 (STOXX) index lowered 0.1 percent, and the Financial Times 100 index went back 0.4 percent.
The UK Consumer Price Index (CPI) broke expectations to slow and remained at 8.7 percent in May. The data came a day before the Bank of England expected to raise interest for the 13th consecutive time.
However, the real estate sector index fell 1.3 percent.
