Gstaad-Qatar’s Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan claimed the silver medal of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour event in Gstaad.
In the final match held on Saturday, the Qatari duo went down 21-23, 21-19, 10-15 to the Netherlands’ Stefan Boermans and Yorick De Groot.
Earlier in the semifinals, Cherif and Ahmed prevailed over Stoyanovskiy and Krasilnikov (21-17, 21-17) while Boermans and De Groot downed Liamin and Myskiv 2-0 (21-17, 21-15).
