Baghdad Former Iraqi football star Younis Mahmoud described the Iraqi national football team in the Arab Cup championship as difficult.
Mahmoud said in media statements: “The first group in which the Iraqi team plays is a difficult group due to the close of the levels of the four teams, Qatar, the winner from the Kuwait and Bahrain match, and the winner from the Sultanate of Oman and Somalia.
He added that the group will witness training from the Gulf states and those teams as long as they play with each other, and thus the group will witness great competition.”
He pointed out: “The Iraqi team benefited from the fact that it will not meet the African Arab teams, Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, those very strong teams.”
