The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met with Russia’s Health Minister Mikhail Murashko on the sidelines of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The meeting discussed the friendship and cooperation between Bahrain and Russia at all levels and ways to enhance cooperation in the health fields.
The two sides reviewed their joint efforts to address the COVID-19 pandemic, expressing the appreciation for the constructive partnership that has been achieved between Bahrain and Russia in manufacturing vaccines to prevent COVID-19, and stressing mutual interest in continuing efforts of coordination and consolidating cooperation in health sciences.
