US shares N. Korean missile info with Japan, S. Korea

WASHINGTON, June 24 (KUNA) — Military leaders from the US, Japan and South Korea met on Friday to share information regarding the recent North Korean missile launches conducted on Tuesday.
The military leaders of the three countries, who spoke via videoconference, condemned the launches and urged the North to refrain from “provocative actions”, stressing that it only “strengthens the resolve of the international community,” Pentagon Spokesperson Peter Cook told reporters.
The US will “continue to work closely with the Republic of Korea and Japan, as well as the international community to address North Korea’s provocative actions,” Cook noted. (end) ak.hb
