UAE Ambassador presents credentials to Bulgarian President.

Emirati diplomat Abdulwahab Nasser Al Najjar, has presented his credentials to President Rumen Radev of Bulgaria as the new Ambassador of the UAE to Bulgaria.

During the meeting, Al Najjar conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the Bulgarian President, as well as their wishes of further progress and prosperity for Bulgaria and its people.

President Radev in turn extended his greetings to the UAE leaders, wishing the country and its people further progress and development.

The Bulgarian President also wished the UAE Ambassador success in his diplomatic work to develop and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries on all levels, including politically, economically and culturally. He also welcomed the opening of direct flights by both the UAE’s national carrier, Etihad Airways and Emirates Airlines to the Bulgarian capital Sofia, saying that this will contribute to increasing tourism between the two countries.

President Radev went on to confirm his country’s preparedness for its participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, which he plans to personally attend.

Welcoming Bulgaria’s participation at the international event, the UAE Ambassador said that it will contribute to furthering cooperation and will serve the interest of the two friendly countries and their peoples.
