Turkish Military Announces Killing 46 ISIS Militants in Northern Syria

Ankara, Forty-Six ISIS militants were killed and 16 others were injured in northern Syria over the last 24 hours as part of Turkey-backed Operation Euphrates Shield, the Turkish Military said on Saturday.

Turkish fighter jets also hit 21 ISIS targets, including 17 buildings used the group as shelters and two armed vehicles, in Al Bab, Bzagah and Qabasin regions, said a Turkish General Staff statement.

Operation Euphrates Shield began on August 24, 2016 to tighten border security, eliminate ISIS threat along Turkish borders.
