Turkey accuses PKK in Istanbul bombing

ISTANBUL, June 7 (KUNA) — Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) of the bomb attack that targeted a police vehicle in central Istanbul on Tuesday.
“This act of terrorism will not be forgiven”, Erdogan told journalists while checking on the injured. He added that Turkey will continue its fights against terrorism by all means. The President also noted that a thorough investigation to arrest those involved is currently underway.
Istanbul was rocked with an explosion that hit a shuttle bus carrying police officers in the Beyazit district of the city early morning, killing 11 among them seven policemen and injuring 36 others, while also causing damage to nearby shops in the area.(pickup previous) ta.mm.ag
