Tomorrow Asian Handball Championship Starts.. And Iraq Begins Its Journey Playing Against Emirates

Baghdad, The competitions of the 20th Asian Men’s Handball Team Championship, which qualifies for the 2023 World Championship “Poland-Sweden”, will be launched at 12:00 tomorrow, Tuesday, in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia until 31st of this month, with the participation of 16 teams.

Tomorrow, several matches will be held. Within the third group competitions, the Iraqi and UAE teams will meet at 4: pm in Dammam. At the same time, the Qatar national team will play against Oman in al-Qatif Arena.

The Saudi national team will play with India at 7: pm at the Ministry of Sports Hall in Dammam, in the second group competitions.

The teams of South Korea and Singapore will cut the ribbon of the championship in the first group competitions that will be held in Dammam, while the Kuwaiti team will play against Jordan at 2: pm in the competitions of the same group.

As for the fourth group, the Uzbekistan team will face Hong Kong at 12: pm in al-Qatif, and the Bahraini team will play against Vietnam at 2: pm in the same hall.

On the other hand, the organizing committee of the championship announced that the fans would be allowed to attend the championship competitions in accordance with the protocol for the masses’ entry to stadiums and sports facilities announced by the Ministry of Sports. In the hall of the Ministry of Sports in Dammam, while the capacity of Qatif Hall will be 2,180 seats for all fans and 300 seats for families.
