The Ministry of Municipality and Environment to Participate at Moushtarayat Conference and Exhibition 2019

The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (Golden Sponsor) ? represented by the Major Tenders and Auctions Committee – shall participate in the Fourth Government Procurement and Contracting Conference and Exhibition (Moushtarayat 2019). The event has been kicked off today (Sunday) morning and it shall continue till the 2nd of April 2019 at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. The event aims at figuring out the contractual opportunities and the possibilities of support provided by the various governmental institutions.

In this occasion, Mrs. Khalda Al-Bouhudud – Secretary of the Major Tenders and Auctions Committee and Head of the Procurement Team in the Ministry ? said that through participating in the Exhibition, the Ministry aims at encouraging middle and small business enterprises to share in the bids, tenders, agreements and contracts made by the Ministry. The pavilion of the Ministry in the Exhibition shall showcase the various types of the already extended or potential tenders during 2019. In addition, the pavilion shall present all information on the tenders extended during last year (2018). An informational documentary on the strategic plan of the Ministry shall be shown and publications on food security shall be distributed in the pavilion. The Ministry shall participate in a number of workshops in order to answer the queries of the companies on the Ministry’s tenders. She added that during the Exhibition, companies may register their data in the Ministry’s database through an iPad form.

It is worthy to mention that the Ministry of Municipality and Environment has been awarded a prize in its capacity as one of the best 5 governmental authorities on the State level in terms of organization and participation in the last Moushtarayat Conference and Exhibition. The Exhibition shall continue till the 2nd of April 2019, and it is open from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
