Vienna: Qatar’s national football team stepped up their preparations for the second phase of the European Zone FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers, which will get underway on September 1.
Qatar will take on Serbia on September 01, then Portugal in tough encounter on September 4 before facing Luxembourg on September 7.
Team Qatar began their European qualifiers campaign in March, where they secured two consecutive victories beating Luxembourg 1-0 and Azerbaijan 2-1 then they shared points with Ireland after a 1-1 draw to collect seven points.
Earlier this month, team Qatar’s Coach Felix Sanchez announced a 31-member squad ahead of September matches at the UEFA European qualifiers.
