DOHA – Qatar’s senior handball team will play friendly games  against Egypt and Iraq  in December and January in Doha  , that  in preparation for the upcoming 20th edition of the 2022 Asian Men’s Handball Championship to  be held  from 18 to 31 January in Dammam,  Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Team Qatar will lock horns against Egypt on December 28 and 31, followed by another two friendly against Iraq on January  4 and 6.

Most notably, the  2022 Asian Men’s Handball Championship acts as a qualifying tournament for  the 2023 IHF World Men’s Handball Championship to be held  from 11 to 29 January 2023 in Poland and Sweden.
