Tanzanian Interior Minister lauds progress in ties with Kuwait

KUWAIT, March 17 (KUNA) — Tanzania’s Minister for Home Affairs Charles Kitwanga lauded the progress in the relations between his country and Kuwait, praising the constant support provided by various Kuwaiti institutions and charities to finance humanitarian actions in Tanzania.
Kitwanga made his remarks Thursday while meeting with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Tanzania Jasem Al-Najem, during which he also stressed the importance of exchanging visits between official from both countries in order to bolster the bilateral Tanzanian-Kuwaiti ties, particularly in the security field, the Kuwaiti Embassy said in a statement, of which KUNA obtained a copy.
He also stressed the need to consolidating the two countries ties and enhancing them in political, economic, security, and social fields, praising the positive outcomes of the ongoing development of ties between Tanzania and Kuwait.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Najem reiterated the Kuwaiti political leadership’s keenness on boosting and improving the bilateral relations between the two countries. (end) tma.ma
