Suspect of Paris attack arrested in Brussels

BRUSSELS, March 18 (KUNA) — Salah Abdeslam, one of the main suspects of November’s Paris attacks was arrested in a large-scale police operation in the Brussels suburb of Molenbeek Friday evening.
According to Belgian media reports, Abdeslam sustained a leg injury in the operation, but has been caught alive. A second suspect was also arrested. He also sustained a leg wound. This man’s identity has not been revealed yet.
Salah Abdeslam a 26-year-old Frenchman grew up in Molenbeek. He worked in Brussels as a tram technician. He took part in the Paris attacks in November.
Police were on his heels after raiding a house in the Brussels suburb of Vorst on Tuesday, where his fingerprints were discovered on a glass.
