Suicide blast kills two people, injures 7 others in E. Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, Jan 29 (KUNA) — At least two people were killed on Friday when a suicide bomber attacked a mosque in Saudi Arabia’s eastern governorate of Al-Ahsa, the Saudi Interior Ministry said.
Another seven people were injured in Friday’s attack, the ministry’s spokesman said in a statement carried by the state-owned Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
One suspect blew himself up near the mosque and another one was arrested after being shot at by Saudi authorities, the spokesman added.
The explosion is still under security investigations, the spokesman pointed out. (end)
