Sudan has reiterated its unlimited support for the Kuwaiti initiative and all other initiatives aimed at solving the current Arab Gulf problem through the principle of dialogue.
This was stated by the Assistant to the President of the Republic, Ibrahim Mahmud, here Thursday, when he met the Qatari Ambassador to Sudan, Rashed Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Naemi.
Mahmud said the pending issues, which have seen a breakdown in relations between Qatar and some of the other Gulf countries, must be resolved through dialogue which based on confidence and co-operation. He expressed hope that the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) will return to its former prominence as an example for co-operation.
The meeting also reviewed bilateral relations and means for developing them further.
