State's financial situation probed in closed session

KUWAIT, June 22 (KUNA) — National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim said on Wednesday that the parliament held an in-camera session at the request of the government according to Article 69 of the parliament’s bylaw, to discuss the financial situation of the state in accordance with Article 150 of the Constitution.
Al-Ghanim said after the resumption of the National Assembly session that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Acting Oil Minister Anas Al-Saleh gave a presentation of the financial situation of the state budget which ended in March 2016, followed by responses of the MPs.
He said that after the discussion, the parliament decided to refer the observations to the Committee on budgets and final account and to the Audit Bureau to prepare a report on the subject within three months and submit it to the budgets committee. (Pick up previous) zak.sss.tg
