Sharjah Ruler receives condolences from UAQ Crown Prince, Chairman of FNC and officials

WAM SHARJAH, 19th September, 2013 (WAM) — H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, yesterday continued to receive condolences on the death of his sister, Sheikha Alia bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, from Their Highnesses, Ministers, dignitaries, citizens and members of Arab, Muslim and foreign communities, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Crown Prince of Umm al-Qaiwain and Mohammad Ahmad Al Murr, Chairman of the Federal National Council (FNC) offered condolences to Sheikh Sultan, and prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the soul of the late Sheikha Alia with mercy, to grant her a place in Paradise, and to bestow patience and strength on her family.

Condolences were also received from Humaid bin Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education, Dr. Rashid Ahmed bin Fahad, Minister of Environment and Water, Campbell Newman, Premier of the Australian State of Queensland, a number of ambassadors of Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States (GCC), a number of consuls and members of the diplomatic corps of Arab, Islamic and other countries to the UAE, a delegation of senior officers of the UAE Armed Forces, and a number of senior officials.

In attendance were a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
