Search of an Egyptian fishing boat fruitless so far – army

CAIRO, Jan 31 (KUNA) — The Egyptian army said Sunday a search of a missing fishing boat in the Red Sea has failed to neither find the vessel nor any of the 14 fishermen on board.
A frigate with a helicopter on board was dispatched to search for the boat in a 900-square-mile area, army spokesman Colonel Mohammad Sameer said in a brief statement.
The missing fishing boat, called Zainat Al-Bahrain, sailed in a Red Sea journey with 14 fishermen a week ago. (end)
