Iranian player Amir Sarakhush won the Asian Snooker Championship title for men the first of the three Asian championships for snooker and English billiards which are organized by the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation until Sunday with participation of the most prominent 80 male and female players on the continent representing 26 countries Sarakhush crowned the title after defeating his Malaysian rival, Thor Chuan Leong 5-1 in the final match.

President of the Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports (ACBS) Mohammed Salem Al Nuaimi, President of the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation Mohamed Al Ramzani, Senior Manager – CSR at QNB Group Abdullah Arbaby and ACBS Vice President Alan Gere crowned the players who won the first four places.
