“Retirement Authority” Website Receives Mada Digital Access Certification

Qatar Assistive Technology Center (Mada) has granted the Digital Access Certification to the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority Website after implementing the criteria and standards for access to its knowledge content, and taking into account all the requirements of persons with disabilities, adopted by Mada.

On this occasion, Ms. Maha Al Mansouri, CEO of Mada, delivered the Digital Access Certification to Mr. Ali Hassan Al Khalaf, Director of Information Systems Department, in the presence of Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Malki, Director of Public Relations and Communication Department in the Authority.

Al Mansouri clarified: In line with our belief in the right of persons with disabilities to access all information, applications, e-Services and digital content, and in implementation of Qatar’s policy of digital and web accessibility, Mada provides a range of digital access services that include assessment, consultation and training to the different government and non-government entities. This is aimed at ensuring accessibility and e-access to enable the disabled and the elderly to access digital content as well as information and communication technology (ICT) equally with others.

Al Mansouri, praised the partnership between Mada and the Retirement Authority, which resulted in achieving access to the Authority’s website and implementing eNetwasal program to enable retirees to access ICT.
