The staff of QU press has shared their opinion on the importance of scientific and literary publication and its role in civilized urbanization.
Prof. Ali A. Alraouf, Professor of Architecture and Urbanism, Research and Development Advisor at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, and the author of the book: Architecture, Urbanism and a City after the Corona Pandemic, which will be published by Qatar University Press 2022 said,

As a result, we were not shocked when we observed development and economic scientists agreeing to stress new transformations in the dominant economic conceptions, as well as the move from rentier to agricultural and industrial economies. The present era is marked by countries and nations that have opted to embrace the ideas of a knowledge and creative economy based on innovation and the production of minds rather than farms and factories. As a result, the prosperity of new countries is based on the balance of creative minds, thinkers, and researchers who develop information.”
Ms. Alreem Aladba, Research Project Manager at QU Press, said: “Scientific research publication is one of the most essential tools for society’s development and progress toward civilization.
