QSE Index Starts Tuesday’s Trading in Green Zone, Gains 69.08 Points

The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange started trading Tuesday in the green zone, gaining 69.08 points, an increase of 0.71%, to rise to the level of 9874 points, compared to Monday’s closing, with the support of the insurance, bank and financial services sectors.

Data issued by Qatar Stock Exchange showed an increase in the performance of the insurance sector by 3.93%, the bank and financial services sector by 1.65%, the communications sector by 0.77%, the real estate sector by 0.59% and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.45%. On the other hand, the industrial sector declined by 0.26%, and the transport sector declined by 0.23%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2393 transactions worth 54.933 million riyals, distributed to 21.092 million shares. (QNA)
