Qatar Stock Exchange index rose 43.48 points, or 0.42%, at the beginning of Thursday’s trading, to reach the level of 10,393.60 points, compared to yesterday’s closing.

The positive performance of QSE general index was supported by a rise in five sectors: Industrials by 0.79%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.37%; Transportation by 0.30%; Real Estate by 0.22%; and Insurance by 0.17%. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in Telecoms by 0.23%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.20%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,721 transactions worth QR 79,608,583.041, distributed to 32,559,62 shares.
