Qatar Stock Exchange index started Sunday’s trading with a slight decline of 0.05%, losing 5.04 points to drop to a level of 10,638 points compared to the closing of the previous week.
Figures released by QSE showed an increase in the performance of the real estate sector by 0.55%, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.45%, the industrial sector by 0.16% and the transportation sector by 0.09%. On the other hand, a decline was recorded in the bank and financial services sector by 0.19%, the insurance sector by 0.41% and the telecommunications sector by 0.97%.
At 10:00 AM, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 3,513 transactions worth QR 159.903 million, distributed to 76.720 million shares.
In another context, Qatar Stock Exchange announced that there are no changes in the results of the quarterly review of the FTSE Global Equity Index Series, which will go into force on June 15, 2023 after the market closes.
